MOVI members work with many groups in various avenues to get money out of politics, including community outreach, building local government support for a Constitutional amendment, and organizing a conference to educate themselves and fellow citizen activists regarding the nuances of these issues.
Join us on our journey to make a more perfect union. This is a cause and issue that goes to the very core of what democracy means in this country. We want you to be part of the conversation. And if MOVI isn't in your area, we want to help you start a chapter.
Money Out / Voters In Coalition organized a conference in November 2012 that was attended by hundreds of activists in person and hundreds more online. The conference featured recognized experts in constitutional law and election finance law who discussed the scope of the problem we face and what we as concerned citizens can do to address it.
The conference was recorded and is free to all. These videos are a great place for novices and seasoned activists to learn more at your own pace. Be sure to download the relevant materials linked in the description of each video.
